‘Namaskaram’ for longer memory

Namaskaaram(meaning is more than a formal way of greeting each other. Its spiritual basis makes it different from other ways of greeting. Namaskaram involves bringing hands together closely in front of chest, with palms and fingers (pointed upwards) of both the hands in contact, followed by a slight bow. When pressed, nerves in the finger points, which are linked to pressure points of vital organs, such as eyes, ear, brain, and other sensing organs, get activated and helps in remembering a person for a long time. Greeting this way also helps in inculcating the attitude of gratitude and surrender, which undoubtedly kills one’s ego
